This
is the interior of the cabin I stay in when I visit my commercial
fishing friends in East River and Yakatat. The 20' x 24' one
room cabin serves as a kitchen, living room as well as a bedroom.
The outhouse and the shower are outdoors. It sleeps four in
bunks and more on the floor.
The last
time I was there they had other guests as well and several
slept on the floor in sleeping bags. the dog snuggled up to
us as did the cat. I didn't mind when it rained which it did
often because there were plenty of subjects to sketch inside
such as this solitaire player.
