Salmon caviar is a great delicacy in Japan - and this image shows workers boxing a shipment for the Orient. To the best of my knowledge all salmon roe prepared and salted in the fish plants is destined for Japan. Local sports fishermen however, frequently make their own salmon caviar. And I’m happy to say that includes some of my good friends.
