Fellow Alaskan artist, and long time friend Dot Bardarson, invited me a few years ago, to sketch in her part of Alaska, Seward. Of course I went. Wonderful sketching in that beautiful small seaside town! I returned home with a full sketch pad. "Commercial Fisherman's Family" hails from my work there.
