Fishing at the mouth of the East River near Yakutat is a great location for salmon but it has one major drawback. The ocean currents deposit a lot of seaweed, which gets caught in the nets that tips off the fish that swim around the otherwise invisible net. Here a commercial fisher is shaking out the seaweed.
