My
dog and I travel to my Orcas Island one-room cabin periodically.
There I like to paint while Muncie explores new scents and sounds
of the woods around us. There are deer, raccoons, squirrels,
muskrats and butterflies. He's afraid of raccoons, but squirrels
are decidedly his "cup of tea." By the hour he'll sit under
or jump up against a tree, hoping to somehow catch a squirrel.
In real life Muncie is a yellow lab type, for this painting
he turned black.
