The Kashim is a community house used by the Eskimos on King Island in the Bering Sea. There are no doors as the wind and cold would chill the place down. People come and go from a tunnel and hole in the floor, which was the official entrance to the Kashim.

The King Island Eskimo women dance while sitting.
