MUNOZ NEWS

Winter Gallery
We
have been getting our share of snow this winter as you
can see by the gallery photo. Can you find Rie's car buried
with the rear view mirror sticking out of the snow? Rie
forgot to leave us a key to her car (or maybe she didn't)
so we couldn't move it out of the way of the snow plow.
The snow has since turned to ice and her car looks similar
to a mastodon frozen in a glacier except that it's red.

WINTER
IN CALIFORNIA
On
the other extreme we have Rie in California, wisely having removed herself
from Southeast Alaska for a couple of months. She is busy painting and
having a good time with family in Morro Bay.

Time
goes by quick, no? You blink an eye and the next thing you
know, your baby girl is putting on make-up and telling you
to grow up! Mercedes Marie Munoz turned 13 on January 26.
Mercedes
is enjoying school in Juneau, and doing well. She made the
honor roll again this quarter with a 3.7 grade point average.
Shes happier in the Juneau school of 600 as opposed
to the Tenakee school of 12.
The three
lithographs released by Rie Munoz on February 16, Family
Dog, Pike Street Market, and Gastineau
Channel are sold out. Not since the Dream release
have we had so many calls before and during a release.
Ries
