At Iditarod Race Headquartes in Nome, officials track the progress of the mushers on a large board marked with all the checkpointed along the Iditarod route. Those men and women who have already taken their teams across the finish line, as well as otehrs interested in the dailt progress of the race, come here to check out the board. It's always a lively scene. I made a tapestry of this scene as well.
