My friend, artist Jean Shadrach, and I were sketching in London one day when we found ourselves caught in a sudden downpour. We ran to the nearest doorway which, luckily, turned out to be a pub, and right behind us a man with his two black labs ran in. He stood at the bar and drank his "pint" and I sketched him and his two friends on the spot.
